5. The 5 digit signature ID is special for Turbo Tax, its not the 6 digit IRS code

My notes say that when I first did taxes in Turbo Tax, in 2018, "It asked for a 5 digit number, any number, as some kind of ID.", and I made one up.

In 2019 and 2020 when I did taxes, and when in the electronic filing stage, I got: "Enter a 5 digit signature ID"

I used the same one as I used in 2018.

I don't know if using the same one as in previous years is necessary...

That's all I remember.
