I want to buy a computer... [View all]

Why will they not just show me the one I want. I'm old (77) I just need a computer to surf and e-mail. I am not a gamer or video type. I can understand why if I request a simple computer to do these things they show me a half dozen other options. I do not need to be shown all the super whiz-bang nonsense. I don't even care how sexy the tower is. It will not impress anyone I know. I don't need flashing lights and music,
Just a simple computer. Can you recommend a basic computer (mini) that won't break the bank? I know it shouldn't be over $1000. but one web site recommended a mini for $4600, give me a break...

I would not mind a tower of some sort, size is not important. The computer I have now is in need of an upgrade but will not support one. I'm sitting here, cash in hand, and they are just making me angry...

Thank you all for being here.
