But you can have a look at this to help find DirectX problems:

1. Go to the 'Run' command in your Windows start menu

2. Type in: dxdiag

3. In the dialogue box that appears, go through any tests you find in the various tabs.

There's not a lot you can do in any of the tabs of this dialogue box, but the final tab 'More Help' may provide some information.
