Yes., I bought the Shark Navigator Swivel Deluxe #UD410) on eBay.
I knew when I bought it that it was a used machine. I paid $65.00 for it, thinking I got a good buy. I have yet to find out.
When the machine came, it was completely filled with plaster dust. Someone had used it for a job fit for a Shop-Vac.
The canister was empty but every other part was caked with plaster dust. I tried to assemble it so I could see if it worked. Had a little trouble. Called the seller. The CRS was very nice..helped me figure out how to set it up. My intention was to see if I could blow out the dust and clean it up before trying to use it.
Wow, switched it on and dust everywhere. Mess. I had told her that I would call the next day for further help. Answering machine for 4 days. No-one called me back. Sent e-mail. No reply.
I was about to do the eBay review thing when I noticed the resolution option.
Filled in all the info about the whole situation. I had made note to eBay that I was not going to bother returning it. Postage from west to east coast would cost more that I paid for the machine.
The problem was resolved within 24 hours. I got a full refund for machine and postage costs.
This machine never should have been sent to anyone. It is a mess. Now sits in my attic. Maybe in the warm weather I can take it outside and try somehow to clean out the caked material in the hose and other parts.
To answer your question. I don't know how it will work and will not know until spring. I have a feeling it will end up in the recycle bin at the dump.
The machine gets good reviews. I made the mistake of buying a 'used', not reconditioned machine. I never expected something like this however.
I will say that the weight is good and the swivel is functional.
