1. I'm not sold on the idea of better sleep - but maybe the one I bought was not

the best quality. But I will say it was comforting. It did feel calming - I don't think it improved my sleep though. The extra weight was comforting though. Again, it might have something to do with the quality of the one I bought. I got mine at Walmart.
