Bill Ferguson is in the Leadership position in the MD State Senate(President) and is much younger than Rosapepe. Ferguson has high name recognition and can build up his seniority in the US Senate if he runs and gets elected. Unlike John Sarbanes and Jon Cardin, Ferguson is not following the footsteps of his immediate ancestors.
