In every town and city where "protests" by the usual suspects were publicized to happen, counter-protesters have turned out in their masses - in many instances outnumbering them more than 100 to 1.

Meanwhile, the first accused have been sentenced to jail terms, many more have been remanded for sentencing or trial in a higher court, and police inquiries to identify other rioters continue.
