2. "poorly handled by government"?

Sorry Mercer, but it wasn't so much the executive that ballsed this one up as Conservative MP's themselves with the poor arguments and rank dishonesty they have used to justify their actions.

From Brendan Clarke-Smith claiming that feeding children would be somehow "nationalising" them, to Mark Jenkinson claiming that free school meals would be used to buy drugs, to Phillip Davies bullying abuse of constituents, to the spitefulness and rank dishonesty of Ben Bradley and Selaine Saxby I'm afraid that Conservative MP's have made a rod for their own back.

Time for Conservatives to start doing something they want everyone else to do but never do themselves. Take responsibility for their own screw ups.
