I'm nearly convinced that Brexit is simply going to have to happen as part of teaching too many Britons how good the EU has been for the UK. It's going to take a cathartic few years before those idiots learn--or more likely, die off--and the UK can re-join the EU on clearly inferior terms, so I am coming around to the view that the uglier Brexit is, the better.

Full disclosure, I'll still be an EU citizen after Brexit. I'm watching one of my countries immolate itself, but at least it doesn't actually impact my plans to live, work, and travel.
