This is yet another fringe group that Alberta spawns every decade with the same results. There is a current court case regarding the constitutionality of the proposed question in this push brought by Alberta First Nations given the treaties signed with government that are still in force.

As to the breach, it just makes any referendum on the question of separation have less validity and it's results would challenged in court, the idiots didn't help their case, they hurt it, imo.
