Siccing the cops on the guy is not illegal even if unjustified, but pepper spraying him after the cops check out and okay the situation is very clearly assault and battery, and she needs to spend some time in the greybar hotel to meditate on why she should mind her own damn business. She probably thinks she was being the hero of the situation by sticking up for the voice in her head that wove this delusional story.
