1. Data Quality Campaign seems to be all about hammering pegs into round holes

The ostensible aims and "10 essential elements" seem all very neutral and high-minded. Who is against "quality"?

But the net result is bound to be teaching-to-the test and tight control over syllabuses and effective tight control over in-class emphasis.

Who has time to teach critical thinking when all the oxygen is being sucked up by multiple choice test subject matter and rote facts?

I'm sure this loved by people fearful of what the "scourge of Cathode Ray Tubes" is doing to their children. Loved too by those doxxers who want to hound "libruhl commie school teachers".
