East Tennessee Helene thread [View all]

DUers, check in please.

My daughter, ittybdiddy, who rarely posts, tells me they are safe on their hilltop but can't get out of their subdivision. They're pretty sure their property in Greene County, which they haven't yet built on, is safe as it's mostly on a hill too, but they're worried about some of their neighbors. Bodies are being fished out of the Nolichucky River about 5-7 miles from there. It's hell on earth in much of the area. The Greene County pump station was flooded to the rooftop last night and thousands are without power. If you're praying folks, pray to whatever gods you pray to, or the universe, or whatever. This is bad.
