No way McConnel takes the Lt. Gov spot unless he knows the governor's chair is going to be vacant. Rep. Harrison retires in District 75- he was the chair of the House Judiciary Committee, McConnel leaves his powerful spot in the Senate to become Lt. Governor and also cedes his chairmanship of the Judiciary in the Senate. They are going to put "war time consigliere" as chairs of the Judiciary Comm's and go after Haley for corruption. I think the inquisition is going to be bloody and they will drive her out.
