Faulkner used to be the mayor in Montclair.

A number of the towns around here have non-partisan councils. I think the reason might be that it's a heavily blue area. Anybody who runs is a Dem, so there is no distinguishing feature.

No one wants to admit to being a republican.

Repukes are fairly rare, which is why I live here.
