I got an email from a new acquaintance a few months ago, listing all of Elizabeth's Warren's assets and asking why Democrats would believe a word she says. Never answered the ad hominem email, never bothered with the acquaintance again.

I would say the GOP is just obtuse, but then again, they play to the most base and ignorant instincts of their own base, and it works well for them.

And some days I believe the whole political game is just that - a game and a farce and a way to distribute money without paying taxes on it and a way to let the corporations run the country.
