last appeals--no matter how justified (or not)...I still cannot believe they have repeatedly decided for technical (administrative, timing, or other) bullshit reasons only--especially in those cases where there were clear and appalling considerations. Thomas and Aito are clearly sadists in this regard, but Roberts has emerged to be as well. Probably at least one or 2 of the others.

This case may be clear-cut. I don't know. But damn if they haven't earned some horrific karma over some past decisions.
