3. The 6th is the least compact, so it would likely go and the area be absorbed into the surrounding

districts. The districts immediately south of the 6th would likely drift north a bit, giving their southernmost areas up to other districts. And some renumbering would be likely - it doesn't make sense to have the 7th and 8th without a 6th.

But if we have to lose a district, getting rid of the gerrymandered 6th would be some solace.
