2. Honestly, I think part of it is timing. News outlets aren't staffed well on Sundays, so the coverage

is going to be thinner. Sunday news shows are set in advance and change only for really huge breaking news, so it didn't hit nationally. I agree that part of it is location -- not just Minnesota, but St. Paul, too. OTOH, by this time, journalists should have found some of the wounded to talk to.
