6. Phila seems to be the city expecting the most snow

When I checked Weather Underground NYC and DC will get a lot of snow but Phila will get more.

Of course, growing up in Phila I know from experience that it is impossible to predict snow around there. A few degrees makes all the difference.

I still remember my school closing number as we listened to the radio before school praying to near "318". We rarely did. It would usually go like this...315, 316, 317, 319, 320, etc. Then we'd trudge to the bus stop, get to school only to learn we were being sent home 10 minutes later. So instead of staying warm and safe at home our cheap-assed school district would never announce a snow day so that they could collect a full day's income from the state. There had to be over 10" on the ground before finally conceding. After I became a teacher in CA I learned how school districts work and how $$$$$$$$ rules ALL of their decision, not the students and their welfare.
