2. Can the Kansas legislature ever come back to some semblance of sanity?

There seem to be a number of states that are sinking into the crazy quicksand.
Just had dinner with a friend last night whose son lives in Wisconsin. He is a Democrat. Says they can’t find anybody to run against Walker. Nobody wants the angst. The Dems are pissed.
I am devastated.
I keep hearing about people running against Ryan. Hope that, at least, comes to fruition.
