but the real culprit here is a flat tax system that allows the 1% to pay far too little and pushes the tax burden onto working families.

In addition, Illinois is a state that pays more to the Federal Government than it takes in. So welfare states like Indiana and Kentucky and Michigan benefit from how Federal money is allocated back to the states.

The Chicago Tribune, supporting Ken Griffin, (the real Governor), wants to weaken the labor unions and flip this blue state red. Madigan is jsut a pretext.
