Another Illinois resident posted on line that when they called the GOVERNOR'S OFFICE (Rauner), they got the same response EXCEPT that, when they told the woman fielding the call at his office that the text was widely available and other states were already saying they would not comply, she said---wait for it---"Yes, but that's all fake news". When asked "Are you joking?", she hung up.

I have emailed and called the Board of Elections and alerted our local editor to the issue. If you are an Illinois resident, start lighting up the Springfield phone lines and raise as much hell as you can about this.

This is just one aspect of a pretty serious voter suppression effort by the fascist SOB's who now think they rule us. They need to be disabused of that notion NOW!
