No, now everything is about the experience and the best way to milk every dime from the attendees. There have to be shows and fireworks, and giant screens and special effects and farm to table restaurant food YADA YADA YADA. Once one city upgrades an arena, then another venue that's 15 years old just has to follow suit.

IMO, you could not be more right about the egos of the ultra wealthy. For them, more is better.
