I grew up in the Denver area, going back to the days it was known as an Overgrown Cow Town, with the stockyards smack dab on the outskirts. Haven't been back in ten years, but it's no cowtown anymore, that's for sure. Beautiful city, gorgeous scenery. I recommend Roxborough State Park near Littleton, which I hiked with friends. Watch for the rock formation of George Washington's silhouette. Very cool!

I long ago transplanted myself to the Pacific Northwest, absolutely love it here, but will always have a soft spot for my old home state of Colorado. Enjoy!
