1. If the last refuge of a scoundrel is patriotism, what kind of person uses PTSD as a refuge? For the record ...

... I am a Navy vet, my son an Army. He spent five years in Iraq including 13 months 'stop loss' and came back with PTSD after being shot in the chest by a sniper (he was wearing his vest) and in an up-armored Humvee at the machine gun that got totaled by an IED (he has disability from that). He had anger issues after coming home and never, ever blamed anyone else. He got help and is doing really well.
