Even though Crane was twelve years older. My Dad's name was Bob, too. When we would go out to a restaurant, and people heard my mother call my Dad "Bob", that seemed to solidify in the minds of curious restaurant goers that he was Bob Crane.

People would sometimes come over to our table and ask if he was Bob Crane. Even after Crane was murdered in 1978. I guess some people didn't get the news.
