nature is metal: boa constrictor vs green iguana edition [View all]

just a little while ago, I stepped outside of my house to see that my favorite green iguana (a beautiful, big male with a bright red head) had just fallen prey to a boa constrictor. I watched him take his last few labored breaths and then close his eyes. I don't know if the boa grabbed him while up in a tree and the two fell to the ground in a struggle, or if the boa was able to ambush him on the ground where I found them.
