1. I was (am) a huge fan of The MC5

I got to see them in a small hall back then right up close to see Fred "Sonic" Smith wring out a Mosrite. (He was married to punk rocker Patty Smith)

Not many knew what left wing radicals they were at the time. "Motor City's Burning" is not a song of peace and love. My copy has a White Power fist stamped on the cover for some reason. Regardless, I love that Detroit Rock.

Not many knew that Wayne Kramer released a pretty awesome solo album when the band began dying off. "The Hard Stuff" was on the shelves in 1995.
