Yesterday

After hearing Freedom from the new album, I heard a move AWAY from the blues-rock formula, to an experiment in progressive rock: The 'center eight', in a remote key, becomes a transition to two differing solos, followed by a coda sequence that includes a segment in asymmetrical meter (in 7/8)

It was quite different from his previous composition recipe, and I thought it a breakthrough for him .... He was on the cusp of a great change before he passed, I believe
