1. I want to share what little I know about the "Deuce" nickname.

When the young fellows in the 1950s searched junkyards for cars to customize, they delighted in finding the 1932 Ford models because they featured improvements over the Ford Model A cars which were produced from 1929 through 1931. Because 1932 was a transition year for Ford cars, there were variations within that model year. Each variation had a letter or number to identify it. The young fellows in the 1950s did not care about which variation they might own. Rather, they referred to all 1932 styles as "Deuces."

The blue Deuce pictured on the 1963 Beach Boys album cover still exists.
