I recommend just about all of them for entertaining alternatives to the usual Christmas fare.

Of special note are the following :
Were No Angels (Bogart)
Remember The Night (Fred Macmurray, Stanwyck)
Christmas in Connecticut (Stanwyck)
Man Who came to Dinner (Bette Davis)
Shop Around the Corner (Jimmy Stewart)
Big Business (Laurel & Hardy- one their best, if not the best, silent short)
