Yesterday

In a recent podcast I watched Alan Tudyk talked about filming a death scene for a movie on a lot near the Bat Cave -- and as he was laying there 'dying' he could look over and see the Hollywood sign.

So the Bat Cave was not beneath the mansion as depicted in the show..
