Two shots to get the party started. Now, a Waldorf cocktail. Bourbon, sweet vermouth, Pernod, and angostura bitters. I don’t have Pernod, so I substituted absinthe.

It’s okay. Don’t think I’ll mix one again. Anise is not my favorite flavoring agent.

Still, buzzing pleasantly now. Busy week. Looking forward to the weekend.
