Which we all need, right? I'm glad you are on the mend. Like you, I share the "chicken" part when it comes to medical issues and I think your decision was a good choice. People who don't understand the anxiety don't get the "fear" that comes.
Wishing you all the very best...and YES ambulance crews are underpaid.
