Nearly all plastic is non-recyclable.
Other than sneaker uppers & carpets, the amount of recycle that can be used in new plastics is very small.
7% recycle is considered very good. 4 or 5% much more likely.
None at all is still too common.
Compound that with the fact that people only feed about 70% of plastics into the recycle stream and plastic recycling starts to look more like myth than reality.
It's why I'm such a strong proponent of a return to paper.
Milk, juices, household cleaners, prepared meats, bags for groceries....
Those things, made of paper/cardboard, served us well for a couple hundred years. Going back to that offers no downside to the consumer & eliminates millions of tons of plastic waste.

Yes. This has been my ideal solution for years now. Makes great coffee without waste.

Exactly. Those capsules are full of plastics and other environmental contaminants...Pour over works great.

Return. The cost is built into their business model. They get good will with the public.

Just get a good drip coffee maker or a French Press then find a local person who roasts his or her's own

Costco doesn't have the model I bought! The most inexpensive one at Costco is $70.00 more than what I paid!

Costco doesn't buy the lower end models, that's how they can stand behind their products.
