7. I was assigned to read this book and write a report

Yesterday

about it by a substitute teacher in my 8th grade Reading class. She was filling in for our regular teacher who had suddenly gone on maternity leave in the last 6 weeks. Wow! I had never read such beautiful prose! I was suddenly hungry for everything Bradbury... and it went from there to eveything science fiction and everything fantasy, a lifelong fascination. Thank you for bringing back those memories! Now I want to go read Dandelion Wine again. (I still have the paperback from 8th grade.) 😊
