Good morning my DU family, [View all]

As I leave for Minneapolis to go to Rory's memorial service which is happening tomorrow, I'll have the joy of spending a solid ten to eleven hours remembering him as I drive, remembering you as I drive, and being so very grateful that so many of you who took my hand and walked with me through the worst part of my difficult journey.

It is so hard to ask for help, much less accepting it in the midst of our personal tribulations.

Please give yourself permission not to suffer alone, to know that you deserve the very same grace, kindness, love and generosity that you so willingly offer others.

Please give us a day filled with opportunities to see clearly, honestly and humbly, enabling us to offer what we can, ask for what we need, and have the clarity of purpose to guide us.

Have a deeply satisfying day DU and thank you again.
