Kegsbreath buys the old scroungy grease that squirts out of fittings when you lube your car. The blacker it is the better he likes it.

Helpful hint: If you have a car that has grease fittings, what we've all been told is to put the nozzle of the grease gun on the fitting and pump until some comes out. This is not what you want to do for longest bearing life. Instead, count the number of pumps it takes grease to come out of the fitting - then pump that number again. If it takes 15 pumps for grease to come out, pump a total of 30 times. Just pumping 15 times refills the grease reservoir but it leaves the old grease in the bearing. Pumping 30 times completely changes it.
