looking at several interesting recipes the other day that called for them, and thought how convenient it would be if I could just buy them. Had never seen such in any store. The next day, while at my supermarket, I saw carmelized onion paste. Interesting. I figured I could make that work. Then, yesterday, a friend and I were at our favourite discount/overstock grocery store. .and there they were. .jars and jars of carmelized onions!!!
