But did you ever read James Michener's work on the early eastern seaboard state of Maryland?--Chesapeake was the name of the book. Michener, ever so detailed in research and description, told about the how the male Blue Crab would cover the female with his body after she molted. He would stay there sheltering her until her shell became hard again. That's what the video reminded me of, so I would have accepted it as reality if the male stork were sheltering her with his body. But how, in nature, could birds have evolved to find woven cloth? Come on.
