I got my new passport today! Mrs. Aristus's new one is on the way. [View all]

At last! Soon, I can get out of this wretched country for a while. Weekends in Canada. Vacations in Europe. Anywhere but here.

My passport lapsed a year ago. It was the first time since 1993 that I hadn’t had a valid passport. Worst time to be stuck in this crumbling, once-great nation.
