14. One thing that always stands out with the rich is that they never seem truly satisfied.

Yesterday

An "average" person works hard and saves his money until he/she is finally able to buy a long-awaited item. Then they treasure it and care for it, thrilled to have their dream item.

The rich man casually drops a hunk of money on a purchase. They like it at first, but let another rich guy buy something better, and suddenly Guy #1 is dissatisfied that he no longer has "the best". Thus, he's always striving for more, shinier, better and is never truly happy.

I'll take "average" anyday and enjoy my happiness.
