12. I think there's a different reason people want more money

It's because no matter how much money they have they feel insecure with what they have. They have a fear it's not enough to last them throughout their life. Yes, some people believe the more money they have the more valuable they are to society or it makes them think they're better than those who don't have as much. Again, it's a matter of security.

At my stage of life I am comfortable. I'm not a multimillionaire but I have enough to be, as I said comfortable. I'm invested in mutual funds to help me grow my money. I have a certain amount in my bank account I don't want to go below but it's enough for me to meet just about any unexpected expense that comes up. Once I get close to that level I begin to get insecure.

I think, to an extent, at some point we all feel insecure about how much money we have.
