The DU Lounge

Some of our crew after work stopped at the Sportsman Club for just one.

The waitress was a nice young lady. There was a small basket behind the bar, we started using it like it was a basketball basket and threw quarters at it trying to make a basket. The bar maid was only slightly perturbed because that was more tips for her.

Well after a few beers I went to use the restroom, one of my co-workers was in there. He says to me, I just did something stupid. Someone threw a quarter into his draft beer glass and he chugged it down. Luckily this guy was a big dude and everything worked out.

I swallowed a root beer barrel (remember them) My uncle picked me up by my heels, held me upside down and shook me and I coughed it out. No more root beer barrels for me.
