I listened to all of them last summer and fall.

I noticed that the last few detective novels I like are set outside of London. The main character is an experienced police detective, who guides a younger team. I listened to books by E.C.R. Lorac featuring Robert MacDonald, and J.R. Ellis, featuring DCI Jim Oldroyd. All of the series are murder mysteries, and not graphic.
