The DU Lounge

A few years back we were in CR, we go there often and were staying in Ciudad Colon at a friend’s house. She has a pool and we were relaxing by it taking in the sun. I was watching a family of dove’s in a tree not too far away and noticed a nest. I didn’t think to much of it when our attention was attracted to the nest after some god awful screeching. A toucan and swooped down and grabbed a chick and flew off with it. We were stunned……to say the least. What’s even more bizarre is the my other half was taking pictures of the fauna and caught the event. Just crazy!
