(3,519 posts)9. +1 on lima beans and peas!
I like peas just fine now, esp. whole, fresh sugar snap pea and snow pea which I use in stir fry ALL the time. I use frozen peas in Spanish rice when I make it, and have been known to throw some in soups but I still wouldn't eat like a bowl or side of just peas, cause they're boring.
Lima beans? Still not a fan

OP
I taught a whole group of daycare kids to love lima beans. I called them baby beans and doled them out as treats.

LIMA BEANS... OMG. I have eaten all kinds of foods a lot of people find at least "questionable"

Thank you very much, PJMcK. I have never been served Brussel sprouts as a child or adult. I guess I didn't miss anything

That's funny, Bluestocking. I hid my lima beans under the mashed potatoes on my plate.

Thank you surrealAmerican. beets and canned sweet potatoes rank very close to mixed vegetables. You were lucky.
