5. It was so weird, we had over 36 trick r treaters and ran out of candy for the first time ever!

8 houses on our street decorated, including us and we really attracted the crowds. The kids were so adorable!

On the street behind ours, our neighbors did a haunted backyard and they did an amazing job - we were shocked! There were 4 separate rooms plus long entrance and exit - 5 people popping out, 3 hidden monsters, a giant purple sparkly "alien", lots of colored smoke and spooky effects. Wow!! The only downside was our elderly Aussie was up barking like a maniac all night and is exhausted today. Otherwise, this is by far the best Haloween we've had since we moved to Jax 38 years ago.
