Great news about your breathing!!
My mom became severely asthmatic when I was about 5 ish years old. So I've seen bad breathing problems.

What's this breathing test device you are using? I think post 2 surgeries I had the simple one: plastic, rectangular "case", transparent, ?4 tubes w balls in a row. You blew in and if your breathing was excellent all 4 would quickly float to the top of each of their tube.
If it varied depending by how much in each tube the ball stayed lower how difficult it was.

By the number you describe it sounds quite different.
